FA Cup quarter-final TV picks confirmed, ITV will show headline fixture between Man Utd and Liverpool

The FA Cup quarter-final television fixtures have been confirmed, with ITV set to broadcast the standout fixture between Manchester United and Liverpool.

The match will be shown live on Sunday, March 17 at 3.30 pm.

ITV will also broadcast Wolverhampton Wanderers’ home clash with Championship outfit Coventry City.

Manchester City’s meeting with Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium will be shown by the BBC on Saturday, March 16, at 5.30 pm.

The British public service broadcaster will also air Chelsea vs Leicester City the following day at 12.45 pm.

United progressed to the last eight courtesy of a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest.

The Red Devils will now square off with Liverpool, who beat Southampton courtesy of goals from Jayden Danns (2) and Lewis Koumas.

City’s bid for another continental treble is still alive as they saw off Luton Town 6-2 in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday.

Pep Guardiola’s side will host Newcastle, who have had an underwhelming season but prevailed over Blackburn Rovers on penalties in midweek.

Chelsea squandered a brilliant opportunity to win silverware this season as they lost the League Cup final to Liverpool after an extra-time winner by Virgil van Dijk.

They meet Leicester City, who saw off Bournemouth in the last-16.
